Pretty lace top bought from ebay (originally from Mango)

A big aqua blue skirt from ebay (originally from topshop). Whenever i get the time i'll need to make it smaller and shorter so it actually fits me. I bought it even though its 3 sizes too big, just because i LOVE it and it was dirt cheap.

Loads of peach fabric so i can make myself a little summer dress.
By the way, if your looking for any material i would really recommend this ebay store which i used. It came within 2 days, was really cheap and they do a whole load of different styles and colours.

My sister sent me loads of waitrose vouchers because she knows how much i love the food there. Thank you sweetie!

Chunky gold ring i bought from primark about a week ago and a pair of gold and cream earrings bought from ebay.

Seven facts about me:

1. I'm a vegetarian, kind of. I eat fish and chicken but not red meat. Sometimes I don't mind eating gelatin which has beef in it. So I'm not really a vegetarian. Its complicated.

2. I have an obsession with Alan Davies. Don't ask me why, he's just amazing. One day we'll have lots of children with big brown curly hair.

3. I like drinking wine from a mug.

4. I hate perfectionists. Probably because i never do anything right.

5. I love politics. I should seriously run for PM or something.

6. I have a slight phobia of awkward silences. I rarely speak on the phone and when i do i have to make a list of everything I'm going to say so i can make sure there aren't any awkward moments.

7. I like it when people tell me I'm weird.

What are you wearing now? Black trousers, a sheer yellow blouse and a black cardigan. No shoes, but I was wearing black boots earlier.

What’s the last thing you read/are currently reading? At the moment im attempting to read Great Expectations for the zillionth time. I keep getting bored and skipping loads.

Do you nap a lot? No, I never nap! I hate it because it messes up my sleep patterns and makes me go a bit crazy.

Who was the last person you hugged? Um…wow I can’t remember. I guess it was my dog!

What’s your current obsession/addiction? Reading blogs and making posts, Skins, cobrasnake and falling asleep on Monday nights watching question time.

Which item from your closet are you wearing most lately? Probably this blue cardigan from topshop. It is sooo fluffy and nice.

What's for dinner? Im not sure yet, im very hungry though.

What was the last thing you bought? A ring from Dorothy Perkins which I ended up taking back because even though it got stuck on my finger when I tried it on in the shop, I wanted it too bad. When I got home I decided that it was just too big so I took it back.

What are you listening to right now? Im listening to ‘if you seek Amy’ by Britney Spears. That song is actually amazing. I didn’t understand it at first, but now I do, I can’t stop listening to it!

If you could have any super power, what would it be? Well its not really a super power, but id like to be nocturnal. Things are just so much funner in the middle of the night!

What is your favorite weather, and why? Sun sun sun sun sun. I love summer, full stop!

What time do you usually get up? Well it depends what trashy movie I was watching the night before, but usually about 8.00

What is your most challenging goal right now? To make sure I keep talking to people and not shut my self away from the outside world completely.

If you could have a house–totally paid for, fully furnished–anywhere in the world, where would you want it to be? Can I have two houses? Id like one in London because I could never leave my beloved England, but id like one in Los Angeles too. Is that greedy?!?

Favorite vacation spot? I love France. They have so much culture and beauty over there...and the bread is delicious!

What is your favorite item of clothing? Ooooh I could never choose!

Favorite pair of shoes you keep going back to over and over, even though your closet is overflowing with a zillion others: Black trousers. Everyday I’ll try and plan my outfit around something different but I always fail.

Name one thing you cannot live without: My friends and my sister.

What time is bed time? Again, it depends what trashy movie im watching.

If you could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning, where would it be? I’d wake up in Topshop, with perfect hair and an unlimited visa card.

This post comes after a conversation with a friend who, lets just say, isn't as 'into' fashion as i am. She asked me why i spend so much money on magazines each month when i cant afford a single item in them. I tried explaining that it wasnt about being able to buy the things in vogue or elle, but seeing them, seeing other people in them, gives me inspiration and hope, i guess. She then asked why i like fashion so much. I didnt know how to reply to her, but seriously, you could of cut that atmosphere with a knife. Anyway, after i've had time to think about it, i've finally come up with an answer. I love that fashion is different everywhere you go. If you asked a group of ten people what a doctor is, or what a teacher is, you would get the same reply ten times. If you then asked a group of ten people what fashion is, you would hear ten totally different, but each totally correct answers. There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to fashion.

Truth is, fashion is whatever the hell you want it to be.

I dunno, i guess that must of hit a nerve or something.

I've had the most relaxing weekend. Yesterday i spent the day flicking through old magazines, drinking too much coffee, catching up on missed gossip girl episodes and blogging.
