This post comes after a conversation with a friend who, lets just say, isn't as 'into' fashion as i am. She asked me why i spend so much money on magazines each month when i cant afford a single item in them. I tried explaining that it wasnt about being able to buy the things in vogue or elle, but seeing them, seeing other people in them, gives me inspiration and hope, i guess. She then asked why i like fashion so much. I didnt know how to reply to her, but seriously, you could of cut that atmosphere with a knife. Anyway, after i've had time to think about it, i've finally come up with an answer. I love that fashion is different everywhere you go. If you asked a group of ten people what a doctor is, or what a teacher is, you would get the same reply ten times. If you then asked a group of ten people what fashion is, you would hear ten totally different, but each totally correct answers. There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to fashion.

Truth is, fashion is whatever the hell you want it to be.

I dunno, i guess that must of hit a nerve or something.
